MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin, and Marcos Rojas Marchena, vice president of Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA and co-chairman of the Russia–Venezuela sub-commission on energy, discussed the current cooperation of the two countries, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
“The sides stressed their interest in implementation of agreements formalized in a protocol of a meeting of an energy sub-commission during the 14th meeting of a high-ranking intergovernmental commission of Russia and Venezuela,” the statement read.
“During the meeting, special attention was paid to further directions of joint work. Pavel Sorokin and Marcos Rojas Marchena emphasized the importance of the agreements in the framework of cooperation of the countries in the oil and gas sector.”
